GMT...gold fever!

Gold fever got the best of me and I finally pulled the trigger on a solid gold piece.

I have had the GMT in my sights for a while now especially after my last trip to LA where I was able to try on quite a few different pieces either back to back or near enough as makes no difference.

I also own a 16710 as well and I think the YG ceramic rounds out my GMT collection although I could still be tempted by something like the BLNR or even a birth year Pepsi dial with jubilee. Ok, so maybe I'm not done collecting GMTs.

Thanks, this one was still in the plastic and had never been touched. My AD told me their rep was getting them one with the green dial about 6 weeks ago and asked if I wanted them to hold it for me when it came in so it would be as fresh as they come, so at the time of these pictures was only 10-45 minutes out of the plastic.

I like the black one a lot too. Fortunately I was able to try both of them on at the same time which helped me to pick the green.

Haha you were a big inspiration! BTW I saw you on the Patek 5980 thread, are you going to keep your GMT or are you going to flip it for the Patek?

Haha thanks, I could have done without that martini as I'm moving pretty slow this morning.

Awesome!!! Once I tried on a YG GMT I knew I'd eventually buy one, it took a few months but now that I pulled the trigger I think it's going to be one of my favs.
