That depends on which one you like more. Clearly one will sing to you more so get that one. Doesn't much matter what we think as you will own it and wear it! Happy hunting and look forward to the incoming thread....Cheers,

Yes, of course it is the OP's decision, duh ! But what is the harm in offering an opinion when asked? Of the two, I prefer the GMT.

Personal choice of course...
I have never warmed up to the new GMT in-your-face ceramic Nightclub models, although I do love and have several of the older GMT's ... I would go with an early Sub TT 16613.

They are both great. I tend to like GMT complications but the Sub is a great watch.

A Sub or GMT?
Close call. Go with the one whose function you will use more. For instance, if your'e a diver, or might be, the Sub. If you travel across time zones a lot, the GMT. When I bought my first Rolex, I was torn between these two. I picked the GMT...since I had an Omega Seamaster and did not have a watch with a GMT function, which I knew would be useful to me. Years later, despite already owning a perfectly good dive watch, I bought the Sub. I suspect that whichever one you purchase, down the road you may just acquire the other... |

I would choose the 116713 over the 11613 in a heart beat. Now it would be a different story if the choice was the 116613.

I always wonder if there are folks who make a poll because they really will do what the majority TRF votes as they really cannot pick between the options. Yes, I know it's wishful thinking hehe.

16613 with the blue dial would be my vote...there is something about that dial that I just love! I still don't understand any Rolex changed to that god awful (IMO) blue.

I know that I will be in the minority here, but I prefer the sub. I just don't have any use for the GMT complication and I like my watches clean and simple. Just my 2 cents.
