Flip down clasp
Just noticed this morning that it appears my fold down portion of the clasp is bent. Should I be concerned or is this normal?

You do know that warranties are for Manufacturing Defects, and not damage that you do to your watch.. If your Dealer has a watchmaker on staff he may bend it back as customer service, but they may also charge a nominal fee for the work..

A very simple fix just wants bending back.

Looks like that could be coerced back into place easily enough...

You bent it somehow, I have done that myself. If you feel up to it, get a pair of pliers, tape off the edge that can scratch your clasp, and apply slight, but constant pressure to the clasp, until is back to where it is supposed to be. Or just take it to a watchmaker, anyone should do.

I agree that you must have caught it on something. Don't know if I'd have stones to try to bend it back. On my tuna can clasp no problem. I'd be worried about breaking it if you try to bend it.

I have to agree Larry. That's not warranty work, it's wear and tear!
A watchmaker on staff may do it under a customer satisfaction relationship, but I doubt this would be rectified under a warranty issue..

It's worth a try with RSC under warranty but be prepared to work with a good watchmaker yourself.

That looks like something that might be able to be bent back into shape. Perhaps take it to an AD? I would think if an AD's watchmaker can fix it, it would be a quick an easy repair.. they might not even charge for it.

Pictures of the work. It bends rather easy. Be careful if any if you tackle this.
