For sale is an original 1956 Rolex Gilt Explorer 1 "Red Depth" in Mint condition. The gilt dial features an even patina and gilt script with a red depth, meters first rating found in only a very limited batch of 6610's produced. This Explorer comes with the original T22 Superdome. The gilt hands are original to the watch. The minute hand has a tiny dot and the seconds hand is in a 'lollipop' style. The case is thick and sharp and comes with an original Brevet crown.
