Bought another one!

Went to view the Tudor ceramic Fastrider today, but left with this on my wrist. Almost picked the 116613 TT black dial, but this one is more comfortable for me because of the flatter caseback.

I knew this was going to happen once I join the forum, and that was about a month ago :)
Thanks for looking!

This forum does that to you! Big difference between the Tudor and your GMT. What swayed you in the end?

I was quite keen on the Tudor Black Shield, Alex.

Tried it on, looked a bit odd on my wrist, although the magazine pictures looked great, it did not call out to me.

I always wanted to get a tt black dial, tried on a few Datejust ii's, dial was kind of large, and then I tried the tt black dial subc. The last one was the tt gmt, and it felt right, not too high on the wrist, and I wore my ss gmtc most of the time anyway, so the comfort level was already there. :)

I hear you, the whole ceramic thing doesn't call to me in the 'flesh' either.
Didn't think of the case back thickness difference between sub and GMT, good point!

Thanks Mike. Yes I did consider full gold, but I felt it might be a bit much for me.

I really like the WG SubC, though.
