Is the case on the 116610 the Same as the the 116710 BLNR?

No, they are different
For example, the GMT middle case is thicker than the Sub The Sub has wider lugs than the GMT The Sub has a deeper caseback GMT overall height: 11.9 mm Sub overall height: 12.53 mm Etc...

Did you mean 116710LN and 116710BLNR? If so, yes. If you meant 116610, then no.

I have always found (and this is just my personal feeling) that the GMT ceramic middle case is thicker thank the Submariner Ceramic.
In that regard, I personally find the Submariner more comfortable on my wrist than the GMT.

As stated above, the cases for the 116610 and 116710 are not the same.
