Thinking of those over there. :-( Of all the sadness there was an article this morning that a young girl gave birth among the ruins/rubble. Both mom and baby are doing well. Mom named her daughter after her mother that went missing. So sad. Happily, the baby survived. The woman's husband was at the birth so luckily this young family is together.

Your compassionate remarks are very much appreciated. I was born and raised in the Philippines and seeing the devastation and suffering is hard to bear.
What makes it harder to bear is that these people are not only victims of a natural disaster, but also victims of a 'man made' disaster. |

Have to agree afraid mother nature is still one of the most powerful things on this planet.My prayers go out to all effected by this tragedy spend many months around the Phillipines wonderful very hospitable people.
