116610 nato ?
I have a 14060 and in the summer months I put a NATO on it for Scuba and what not. I have an extra one I purchased that hasn't been used(Bond design). My buddy recently picked up a new 116610 and asked me a couple weeks ago about my Nato as he liked the look. Tomorrows his B-day and were going out to dinner with the wifes and the next day hes off for a Jamaican vacation, where hes going to snorkel a bunch and take basic scuba lessons. My question is, will the nato I have fit his Sub and if so, how hard is it to swap out? I understand its a bit more complicated than my 'holes' Sub. I'd like to give him the band tomorrow nite and maybe put it on for his trip. Any help appreciated.

Yes it will fit as its 20mm lugs and as long as you got the correct spring bar tool its quite easy to do. If not a little more difficult and best to tape around the lugs to prevent any damage to case.

Natos look good on the older subs but not so good on the ceramics and its a waste not to wear the new bracelet and glidelock.

Mine was constructive not just opinion ie the glidelock, so no need to be a defensive sarcastic.

That would be a cool gift! The 20 mm will fit his newer sub just fine. I have a bunch of 20mm Natos that I wear with lug hole and non lug hole nd subs. They both look and wear well. I know its blasphemous on here to say, but I find the lug hole cased watches more difficult to remove spring bars that the ones with no lug holes that you have to access from behind the watch.

Agreed. Lug holes and preferably an acrylic dome for the best nato look. Ceramic and nato looks a bit contrived, to me anyway. Just saying.
