Oyster bracelet question..

What is the difference between the 93250 on my Sub and the new style on my 116710 and 116570? The newer bracelets seem much more substantial. I know both have SEL's but where the screw goes through the small end of the link it seems 'hollow' if you will. Thanks.

Hi, I'm not an expert as I don't possess the new models. But I think the difference is that whereas the older style Oyster bracelets had solid outer links and hollow center links the new 97200 has all solid links.

This made the old style lighter and a dare I say rattily.

SEL (Solid End Link) only refers to the very end links connecting the bracelet with the case, older style had a shaped SS "tin" concealing the springbars and the void between the case and bracelet, whereas SEL bracelets have a solid peace of SS integrated with the bracelet to fit snuggly to the case.

Hope this helps...

That helps a lot. I was confusing SEL's with center links. Thanks.
