Google Fiber service

Does anyone here use Google Fiber (assuming you live in KC, Austin, or Provo)? What do you think of the service? What's not to like about it? Anyone else have a fiber-to-the-home service? Looking at a place in Provo and apparently it's supposed to get Google Fiber. I'm a big fan of over-the-top video and big bandwidth (granted you really don't need more than about 15mbps at the moment). The alternative is Comcast or CenturyLink.

No Google Fiber experience

FIOS is solid. Verizon is generally solid technically - it is the management and customer service that are horrible beyond belief.

Not impressed by Comcast.

I miss my old connection in Helsinki at 200mbps!
That was cable.

Fiber can be had here in Ekenäs at 100mbps, but the installation fee at around 2K + the 80 euro/month isn't too seductive...

On a 24mbps adsl now.

Wow, that would have been an amazing connection! I'd pay top $ for that if it was available!

Actually just checked, and you can now get a 350mbps cable line in Helsinki!
Added a link, but it's in Finnish, but I guess you see the main "character".

It's only 9,90e for the first 6 months, no installation fee, just plug n play. 59,90 euro after that. Reasonable I guess.

I've had Verizon FIOS for several years now and it has been solid (other than the rare storm that blows through and sends a tree through the power/telephone lines).

Well, this is only available in the capital.

However, my town where we just moved 6 months ago just got LTE a few months ago, so I really regret getting the ADSL at 24mbps. Same company (DNA) now offers a LTE network (WLAN) for home use at a maximum of 150mbps...! Yeah I would have wanted that instead! And only 19,90e/month. I'm paying 29,90e/month now for the slow 24mbps ADSL.
