NYC gtg thurs jan 23 2014

Figured I would go ahead and start the thread. I just moved to Nyack NY from the south Nj/Philly area. Would be down for a Thursday gtg in the city somewhere. Let's get it started and see who is on board. When replying please list a date ect when would be best and ideas for where to meet.

All you have to do is have somebody (attending the gtg) to oversee the draw, that is a TRF member responsible to arrange a secure internet connection for the website that StevO likes to use for the "randomization pick" for the draws prizes, in a public venue, have StevO approve it and you are good to go! Have someone from the gtg contact StevO via pm...

Dec is full of party & holiday commitments.
Jan would probably be more successful, say 2nd week in Jan?

2nd week in Jan is fine. Where is everybody located? Why don't we find a bar on stone street in manhattan? I like Vintry. It could be good for our crowd. Or Fraunces tavern, which I believe is where the last gtg was held.

It's listed as being at 82 mercer between spring and broome. I may try to stop over Sunday not 100%. If I do it will probably be later in the day. I'll keep you posted as soon as I know

As far as the gtg I am new to the area so I will leave the location up to those with more knowledge. I'm good to go date wise though.

Hey folks, did anyone ever decide on a meet up place and time? How about Fraunces Tavern again? That was a cool place though a little out of the way. I know a great spot in the village called La Lanterna... what are you all thinking in terms of date?
