Dilemma on choosing my 3rd AP
Hey Guys,
I am having a big dilemma choosing my 3rd AP offshore. Currently have the following 2 AP offshores, The 42mm Blue dial and 44mm Novelty Steel. Wearing the 42mm as my daily watch and leaving the 44mm as the weekender. Ready to get my 3rd AP to add to the rotation during Mon to Fri. (Pics borrowed from the internet, thanks v much to the owners for these amazing photos, credits to you) Either: AP offshore 42mm Grey Themes in titanium with bracelet: OR AP offshore 42mm Diver Steel with rubber strap: Would like add the bracelet if I finally go with the Diver. Will be nice to hear some 3rd parties opinions/thoughts. Cheers |

Why don't you get an RO to really shake it up a bit. 15400? Can be dressy (which you don't have in your AP collection yet) and sporty.

Concur with Soly and Wayne...
Go for an RO or ROC - makes a very nice contrast with your bigger pieces - and wear similar I terms of size (but not height) to the 42mm ROO.
That said, of your 2 options I would go for the Titanium themes for the lightness and wearability. Cheers! |

15400 or 15300...pure class, and something added to your collection. Another ROO would be too much for me. Good luck

Thanks guys for the opinions so far.. Nice to know..
Actually a 15400 or a 41mm chrono is in the pipeline down in 6 months. The 42mm titanium theme does not seems to be quite a popular model and rather understated unlike the diver n other offshore models. Cheers |

If the decision isn't clear cut, then perhaps you don't really want any of them as badly as you think...

You have great taste! 2 of my favorite offshore models!
Of the two your looking at, the Diver for me. But I Agree with others, a base model would complement your collection...which one 15400/ 15300 / 15202 :)

Another vote for a Diver. Give some diversity to the already 2 chrono APs in your collection.

Went with this one!
Hey guys,
Thanks so much for all the comments and opinions, Really interesting to read and ponder.. I tried on both watches before deciding and find it hard to believe how comfortable the full titanium offshore wears n feel. If anyone not tried the titanium offshore, do try and let me know how you feel about it. I finally went for the one in the pic. Next in the pipeline will be 15400 or diver in the next 3 months I am a happy man... Cheers |
