If I were to ask my wife the same question.. she would say HOT TUB,

but since you are asking me... I would go with the meteorite Daytona

If I were single (which I am..) and had a selection of nubile friends partial to petty pleasures (which I don't ...), I'd go for the hot-tub. If I were married and the tub would'nt change much, I'd get the watch.

Awfully tingly feeling I have on the back of my neck...the "gonna be banned" blues. I sound like Kris right now.

But really that's the way I see it. Let's admit...hot-tubs are for socials. Preferably mixed :)

I'd go for the one with the most potential to enhance my daily life. My ZAR0.02

Tough decision, but if it were me, and I was going to stay in the house for the forseeable future, I would go with SPA!

without a doubt, get the watch!

you'll get tired of the hot tub soon, the maintenance will be a pain and it's one of the few items that actually reduces the value of a home.

Definitely the Daytona! If you are like me, you'll use the hot tub for the first two months and then regret spending your money on it. But you'll wear the watch every day and it'll make you happy for the next 20 years at least. Just my two cents...

Randy, Randy, Randy!!!

You can pour hot water over each other in the shower/tub or go to a Spa for a little R&R any time. The Meteorite Daytona is, well....out of this world, rare and special. Need I say more?!?

Sundance Spa...hands down..no

I/we have had a Sundance Spa for 10 years. It is one of the single best things I ever did to my/our home. It has given me zero problems and many hundreds of hours of comfort to my back, my wifes back and I look forward to soaking our old bones in it for years to come

IMO, Sundance and Hot Springs are the 2 best brands of tubs out there and I researched for almost a year before I bought it.

A Daytona is a great watch but this is something you and your wife/GF/SO can enjoy together. A tub can be a relaxing and romantic respite from the daily grind

We use the tub 3 to 5 times a week, year 'round...you will never regret it

I was just about ready to say that given my current state, with my lower back just absolutely killing me, I'd go for the hot tub.

I have 2 generative discs and my wife has a buldging disc and it has really helped us. It's not a cure all but rather 1 important part of an overall pain management strategy. Overall it averages about $50 a month to run.

Which reminds me to mention that if the tub runs on 220V, you'll need an electrician and a permit for the hook up (if one does not exist). If the tub plugs into the wall (120V) you most likely will not be able to run the heater and jets at the same time. In the winter, especially when the breeze speeds up the dissipation of heat, just a drop of a degree or two will be noticeable.
With 120V, the heater will not kick back on until the jets are turned off. With 220V...party on Wayne!

I'd get the watch, it will be useful and enjoyable for much longer. Kind of like bar owners in the olden days... Mechanical bull or Big screen T.V?....We saw which was the right decision on that one, not the bull.

Each morning I go out to the garden. I feed the guinea pig and the rabbit. I throw a half cup of chlorine into the pool and check the pump etc.
It's too late now to fill the pool in and buy a Rolex instead.
Buy the Rolex. Find a friend with a Spa and factor in one bottle of wine/visit.

Ask yourself how often would you REALLY use the hot tub? They are fun but do require maintenance. It's basically a small swimming pool. The watch only requires a few winds every now and then.
