Saw one of these in the Venice LV shop a few weeks ago, and was quite interested until I saw the price: 3,900 euros if I remember correctly.

I like it, but I don't like it so much that I would buy a watch box for Rolex money!

why would you pay that much for the "box" when you can buy another watch with that money?

Nothing special here, paid about $35 for it.

However, I like the ability to see the watches through the glass top.

Thanks. I think sometimes we underestimate the importance of the box. The right color meaning something neutral so the watch stands out, the right width so you can fit bigger pieces, the right pattern so it blends wherever you put it.

It took me a while to find something I liked, after all, chances are that your watches will be just short or long term visitors of your precious box

Mine that i have now are all going to be long term tenants of this box!! in the picture i am missing the SubC-LN and the Sub- 50th Anniversary Model- both of those are currently in my Brown Safe Co. Mens Safe in the winders. I don't know if there is a thread about safes with winders built in , but Brown Safe Co, has the absolute best safes made for men with Winders built in!! they are awesome!!!

i was talking to a friend of mine tonight , we met up for some drinks and i was telling him how i just posted some pics to the Forum of the LV watch box that we both have. He stopped me right away to tell me that he forgot to tell me , but about 3 months ago he needed some money to buy an engagement ring and he decided to put it up on Ebay to see what he could get for it. ( we both paid about 4K in the beginning of 2011) within about 3 hours of putting it up on Ebay he got an offer of 5500.00 and accepted it right away thinking the bidder would never pay and within minutes the guy had paid !! he used that money to purchase the engagement ring!! after hearing this tonight it really has me thinking of selling the Box - but right now i don't need the $$ but if i ever do its good to know that there was a nice demand for the product. He said he made the deal off Ebay to save some money and left the listing up for a few more days and got between 5-10 messages a day asking if it was still available. so the desire for this pricey piece is pretty high!! LV NEVER discounts their items and over past 2 years have raised pricing across the board by over 30% sometimes.( Sounds like a certain watch company i know of :).

yeh- in my earlier days a few years ago i was really all over the place- and ended up flipping a few different pieces including a daytona ( which i really just did not like) and even more recently the Tudor Black Bay which i loved while looking at but just did not find it as comfortable....... Comfort is very important to me !!The Yachtmaster II which is my most recent purchase , i was very nervous that it would be to big or to heavy on my wrist and it is actually my most comfortable watch by FAR!!! i love it!!i am waiting on 2 really special pieces but i think i will wait to share them until they come in!! haha ! keep some suspense.....

Those are two amazing pieces. Congrats!. The BLNR is stunning, look forward to see how it looks with the new bracelet...good luck withthat. I am sure someone will eventually be able to help.

The skydweller is so rare, I saw it an AD a few weeks back in YG...simply amazing.

Thanks Man!! i can not wait to just try it on and make my final decision. the BLNR i was positive that i wanted , i was able to try one on at my AD but it was being sold to someone who had walked in the store a few minutes before me :(...... but mine will be here in a few days so i can't really complain! the Sky Dweller he is offering to me at a really awesome deal!! i assume the White gold model is either not selling well or i have just never bought a solid gold rolex and the discounts are much more significant than with Stainless Steel rolex models..... I'm not sure....... what do you think???

I have this. What's nice about it is that it has a drawer for other stuff (cuff links, pens, etc.)

SamSam- ye the LV box i have does not have a drawer but under the tray that holds the watches , there is space to keep stuff like cufflinks pens or anything else. tomorrow i will take a picture of it with the watch tray out also. but i LOVE that box , very organized and looks nice also!! Great Collection as well!! enjoy looking at that box nice and full!! Use it in the best of health!!
