It's here! My first Rolex!
Guys and gals,
The FedEx lady just dropped off a package from DavidSW. My first Rolex! I'm so happy to be a part of the Rolex family. When I started looking for my first Rolex, I was initially attracted to the 216570 and then the 116710. I always liked the Subs, but didn't consider one since I was sure that I wanted the GMT function and that a Sub would be too close to my Omega 2254.50. I kept going back and forth between these two watches, but eventually, I listened to my heart and not my head. I bought a 114060. Once I tried it on at the store, I knew it had to be mine. The history, simplicity and symmetry of the watch really won me over. I couldn't be happier with my decision and I have no regrets. Wow, Wes! Great choice. I had the same experience. Tried on a half dozen models and the second I put on the 114060 I knew immediately it was the piece for me. Huge congrats!
