Got my FATLADY.....WoooHoooo...

Well, it seems i am on track in my goals in terms of watches.I have mention in an earlier post that for 2008, one of my target is a 16760 aka 'The fatlady'.

Well , this is it.Although i would have preferred if it came with original papers....but i guess beggars can't be choosers.

Here it is.Its a low 9 mil serial, making it just about the last few batch of the 16760.The pics jus don't do the watch any justice. The hour markers and the hands are almost yellow in colour....not even cream.its very beautiful in the flesh. Even the gloss dial is turning matte.

Hope everyone like the crappy pics.Peter.

Wow! Peter that is a beautiful example. Well done on finding one of the harder GMTs to locate. Gotta love the thicker case and crown guards.

How about a duet. LOL!

Bad Joke:

Looks so bad when you wrap your arms around one.
Looks so good when you wrap one around your arm.

I apologize in advance.

Very nice pictures.

They really capture the color of the tritium.

I have the same watch, 1986, and I let a con artist watch maker ruin the dial.

As my Grandmother Helen Marie said, "You can cry over spilt milk, once; and then you've got to get on with life."

Great watch.

I makes me feel good to know you have it and appreciate it.

The Fat Lady was my second Rolex purchase but sadly it hasn't seen wrist time in about a year. It will probably be up for sale soon.
