Did you make an insert swap on a WG Sub, or a dial swap on a SS one?
The color counterpoint is interesting...

The look is fresh but IMHO, the colors don't really mix.

I am the minority here but I don't think it looks good / "right", but if you enjoy it then

Just wondering if I bring a sub LN and LV to RSC, would they do a dial or bezel swap for me ? How much do they charge ?

The blue dial looks great when paired with the blue bezel. For some reason, the blue dial with black bezel looks off to me. Too much contrast maybe.

I think it looks good because it is a legit Rolex dial and you don't see that combo...anywhere.

I think it looks awesome, but my brain is wired to tell me it isn't, because it's not "official." When I see something like this on, say, Instagram, my immediate thought would be "FAKE!" Knowing yours is real makes it bad ass, but it still causes a double-take in my head.

I think it looks okay. not your average sub for sure. And many people here like the combo.
But technically it is a "frankenwatch" OEM Rolex parts, just not put together in the OEM construction. Makes me wonder why would this version is liked, while typically in the past, Frankenwatches have not? A change in thinking? Is customization now okay? If so, thinking we will see some pretty cool watches being put together in the future. |

I like this watch, frankewatch or not. To my eyes it looks sharp. It may not be all original, but I see nothing wrong with Baselman making it his own. Many here tweak their watches. ;-)
Its still a Rolex. |

Totally original Rolex watch no aftermarket parts at all with an original brand new Rolex 116619 blue sub dial added - I still have the original black dial.

Baselman just call me and say you are not nice to him.
So now he have bring the watch back to original.
