I think I've got this watch addiction licked...

After all, I haven't bought a watch all year!

I'm screwed. I bought one at the end of last year and I'm already taking possession of a new one on Friday!

I bought, I think, three watches last year. However, they don't fall into the luxury category. They just prove how weak I am when it comes to watches. No watch is beneath me.

I will say that last year I bought two "Railroad Quality" Pocket Watches because they were both excellent buys. And one was a Pocket Watch made by Hamilton and bought by the U.S. Army(Ordinance)during WW II to be used in the European Theatre. It did see use but of course I have no proof where or when it was actually used.....

AND...we did buy the Love of my life, Pam, a Rolex Watch back in August to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary. She hadn't been wearing a wristwatch for years but when we walked into our Jewelry store and AD she saw the new Rolex Display...and the rest is history. I will say that everyday now she wears that watch with pride and I'm just happy that it brings her Happiness!!!

Take care.....Leo

Grady, what does the green, yellow and red bar under the hands and above U.S. MARINES mean/signify please? It looks like a medal ribbon/bar.

That's absolutely correct.

That is the Vietnam Service Ribbon.

Been there; done that.

I walked past the Rolex boutique in Beverly Hills yesterday. Paused at the window, but didn't go in.

Why take chances?
