Thank you because I was trying to buy a 36mm bezel for the 1601 and the guy at the jewelers told me the 1601 were all 34mm. I am not sure of this

He hasn't been dealing with Rolex very long then. The cases on the 1600, 1601, 1603, 16013, 16014, 1803, etc... (ALL MEN'S DATEJUSTS with a plastic crystal except the Thunderbird) have the same diameter bezel.

The midsize Rolex (Date, and I believe Air King) are 34mm.

Thanks for the clarification. That's what I was trying to tell him. Only difference between the 1601 and 16014 is non quickset and quickset. So the dials are different. Bezel and cases are the same

I just did a bezel swap on my 1603 from the SS to an 18k YG off an 18038. So, I know it will work.

Are you looking for a bezel?

Is it hard to do a bezel swap yourself?

I thought maybe you were looking for SS. I don't have a diamond bezel.

Would love to see pics though!

No, not hard at all.

I actually bought a bezel press though. I have read that you can do it with a piece of PVC and a bench vice. I wouldn't recommend doing it that way though.

I use a razor blade to remove the bezel. VERY CAREFULLY!
