Outgoing!!

I have today agreed with my AD to return my Sub 116613 LB which I have had for only three months. I really love the watch to hold and to look at, it really is amazing, but on the wrist it doesn't quite work for me. The combination of single shade bezel, multi-shade dial, SS and Gold, and the date magnifier means there is just a bit too much going on for my liking.

My AD have been good but obviously I'm taking a big hit...I might be able to get £300 more if I sold privately, but too much hassle and risk, so this weekend I'm taking it back to the AD.

I now need to decide what to get next. It's pretty much a choice between the following:

1) Submariner 116610 LN
2) Submariner 114060 plus a Speedmaster (or watch of similar value)
3) GMT 116710
4) Explorer 1 plus Black Bay (or watch of similar value)

Don't think there us a bad option, so lots of thinking to be done over next few days!

My choice would be combo #2 since you didn't like the Cyclops on the 11613LB and sounds like you like the sub but something simpler. Both the 114060 and the Speedy are iconic watches with timeless design.
Wrist shots when you pull the trigger please.

Sub ND plus Exp1 is the very best option. Contact Rolexroz at Newturfers.com or any trusted seller there and see if they can make this happen for you at the right price. Otherwise chrono24 and try to find them both gently used for around £7-7.5K. You're gonna have to work to make it happen, but its worth it. If I sold a subc TT this is what I would need to do, all the other options are too little for me.

#2 or #4, sans the Tudor. And someone suggested the 114060 and the Explorer I - to me that is the best combo of the models listed. Such decisions.

LN- went through the exact same dilemma with the blue, but never got it.it looks amazing in pics and in the case, but didn't care for it on my wrist. I just did a sell off and am betting the LN next week.

Fell out of love with the TT as well. One single metal coupled with single dial and bezel colour is the winner.

Option 2!

114060 + 3570.50 = Classic perfection
