Watch runs slow on winder?
I've noticed that my GMT TT C runs about 4 sec a day slow on the winder but 1 sec per day fast on my wrist. I am not complaining, I know this is pretty good and within specs.
I was just wondering if it runs faster in warmer situations (on my wrist) vs. the cool environment of my closet? Thanks |

The temperature probably doesn't have as much effect as the various wrist movements you go through during the day.

I'd second Al's words. The various angles and movements your wrist makes cannot be simulated by the winder. But have you tried using other settings on the winder?

That's quite a variation..
Have you got your winder set for bi-directional winding..??

Both my Rolexes speed up while worn, and slow down on the winder. I attribute this to the watches being held vertically while in the winder, and horizontal while being worn...

Quite correct and one of the main reasons why no purely mechanical watch will be 100 % perfect accurate, close yes but perfect no.
