So... what do you use as a watch cozy when traveling?
Here is what I use. I guess I could purchase one of those green Rolex soft travel cases but this seems to work fine.

Have to agree and that's what watches were designed for,and in the very rare occasions traveled with more than one watch used one of my clean socks.

I keep it on my wrist, under my pillow, next to the PPK/s.

I wear my watch 24 hours a day while traveling. I don't trust those safes at hotels, nor cleaning staff.

Rolex Green Pouch. I have about 10 of them. Small, protective, and work great. I have them in my carry-on bag primarily so I can secure my watch while navigating through airport security.

Only time I removed my watch while traveling was through airport security. In that case I actually had brought a fresh sock and simply placed it in my carry on. Not as elegant or nice as a case, but it worked nonetheless.

Absolutely...that's why I have an Explorer; never out of place, any place.

Agree, watch stays on my wrist.
I also travel with 1 or 2 strap options (nato & leather) in the event i feel it would be better suited to fly under the radar. Case budi is a great choice for temporary travel storage, non-descript, cheap and very good durable protection for your watch.
