Apsc

Watch sent January 8, returned for pickup January 31. Yes, I have had a few issues with the 3120 but AP takes care of them very promptly.

My 3120 was not repaired that prompt. Took two months both (!) times it had to be serviced within 8 months of ownership. But I have to admit, now it runs within +-1 second per day.

Good to hear you got it back that promptly! Enjoy it!

That's great service.
Got to say that I don't like the idea of my watch been opened up too early in its life or too frequently.
The white gold screws are not designed to be tampered with that often and will probably lead to extra cost further down the line when they need replacing at a regular service because they become chewed up/damaged.
I find it a bit disappointing that these expensive high end pieces can leave the AP factory with problems. Just my opinion.

Not sure the white gold screws will get chewed up as they are end caps. In other words, no instrument will touch them.

3 weeks is kinda the norm (depending upon time of year). Those guys rock over there--always helpful and professional.

I hear what you are saying, just don't think it's a good idea to keep opening these watches up. It should be good for approx 5 yrs once it leaves the factory.
The gold is the softest metal, so if it's against SS bez it's the gold that will be damaged first.
Also watches like Schumi, RBII, etc have hex head screws which need a tool to hold them when loosening case screws and I have seen these looking damaged (under a loupe) when they have been opened up a few times.
