Need opinion on 16750 on "that site"
After several attempts to weed out an affordable 16750, I'm even perusing "that site" I've read referred to as "fleabay" on this site.
I've found this one that appears decent: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...EWA:PIC&ih=003 From the pictures I noticed that the hands are of a different shade (darker) than the hour markers which makes me think one or the other is not original. Any comments, please? Anyone have done any business with this individual? Thanks, Joe in Houston |

Joe,
Boy I wish the photos were better. It looks like the dial is correct. Appears to have the elongated coronet common to early matt 16750s. That the hands are a different shade isn't necessarily wrong. Rolex often obtained hands and dials from different makers back then and differences in patina is not unheard of. For some reason hands on the early matt 16750s were subject to darkening and pitting. I have no knowledge of the seller. |

Thank you all for your time & comments.
I decided not to take the chance since the pics weren't very clear and I did not receive any replies to my emails to the seller.
