A magician stole my Sub (kinda)

I was recently at a very well to do Sunday brunch in Orange County CA where they have a magician that walks around the tables doing magic tricks to entertain the customers,it was mostly card tricks he was doing ,we had a table of 5 & he interacted with all of us, on his last trick to my total surprise he pulled my Sub out of his pocket & handed it to me.I love my Sub & these things are heavy i couldn't believe he slipped it off my hand that easily ,at least he was an honest magician.

Steve won't be doing many tricks behind bars.

Risky business, lord forbid he drops it while lifting it off your wrist.

Sure hope he didn't put it in the pocket he had his keys in.

Interesting, I always wondered if this could legitimately be done. I just can't believe I wouldn't feel my watch come off my wrist.
Undo the cover, lift up on the clasp and slide my watch off.....without feeling it?

Agreed, but I think I'd also be completely ticked off at myself for allowing it to happen.
Or should I say, being distracted enough to have a watch taken off my wrist without knowing...!

Part of the trick is bottomless mimosas. When you're hammered, the last think you're thinking of is your watch.

I probably would have gone from shock, to mad at him for doing it, to mad at me for not knowing it happened.

If you are like most of us, you work extremely hard during the week and have a lot on your mind. A Sunday Brunch with friends and family (with or without a few cocktails) is a time when you should be able to relax and not have to worry about work or anything else. I would be more mad than you apparently are.

- Nobody touches my Rolex!
- My precious!!!!
- ...??
