New IWC Arrival today!

I've been looking for a simple, understated yet classy watch to wear to meetings and conferences where I need to avoid the appearance of excessive spending (we do a lot of government environmental remediation work) and the IWC Portofino seemed to fit the bill. It just arrived today and I think it's just what I was looking for.

A big thanks to takuya (Thanh Do) for tracking one down for me so quickly and as always, at a great price too!

You got duped, it's got hairline cracks on the crystal. Never mind, they're your hair!
Looks great on you, pal!

that seems to be a problem with all my watches. I think it's a family curse or something!

Thanks guys!

I got a funny comment from my wife last night. I was wearing jeans when she came home and saw it and her response was "That too nice to wear with jeans!" She's never said that with any of my other watches and it made me laugh.

My absolute favourite IWC!

I want one so badly but my wife would never agree to it having only bought my my first Rolex this year.

Guess i'll just have to be patient.
