? for anyone who has returned an ebay item to seller
Bought a part on ebay (using paypal), turns out it is not well built and obviously fake. I contacted seller who stated that I can return the item and when she gets it, she'll refund me the money.
We're talking under $50 here, but what is the usual procedure in this case? Do I request she refund first and then I send? Or, since I am a buyer, if she tries anything funny after I send it back, I will mostly likely win with paypal?

As David said, open a received item not as described. This way ebay is on the loop. Then log in your return tracking number on the case. Document, document, document...
