Phoney Tudor Sub 9411 in Cape Town
Hello,
While shopping for a watch in Cape Town (because the Rand is really low) I was offered this watch which, I soon realised, is phoney. I guess it was probably assembled from someone's parts bin. The case is marked 9411 and 947374 and the movement is an ETA 2840. Thanks to info from this and other websites, I quickly realised:- - The hands are just wrong! - The dial is too uniform - A 9411 should be a date watch - The ETA 2840 was introduced in 1991 Thanks to all for helping me avoid this trap.
