Questions regarding RGRC/ RG 44 novelty/ RG 41mm chrono
Hello all,
Just curious to get some opinions and input regarding the above mentioned pieces. I just recently picked up a new Rose gold Rubberclad with the new dial but was offered an opportunity to pick up a new RG 44 or a 41mm chrono from my AD. This would require me selling the Rubberclad. I had always wanted the Rubberclad but with AP's new lineup the other two rose gold pieces are really attractive as well (recent pics on this board don't help!!) So I'm just curious to gear about comparisons on wearability, aesthetics or any other factors worth noting between these pieces. Thanks in advance!! Carlos |

RGRC is the quintessential royal oak offshore. I would stick with what you have and this is coming from an owner that has both. Best of luck in your choice.

I have owned both and the 44 gets the win everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. The rgrc looks old next to the novelty. IMHO.

X2 and one of the sexiest watches around IMHO! I would not do it but to each his own.

I would do it. For me, I prefer the 44RG but the 41ROC in full RG is a stunner and depending on what you wear, I'd pick between the 2. The ceramic on the 44 is more suitable for my OCD. ;)
Either way, both look better than the RC, IMO. |

RGRC with new dial combo is stunning and getting tougher to find for sale. I find it more comfortable on a 7 inch wrist than my 44. I would do what makes you happy.

The Red Gold Novelty 44 is the best you can ask for in terms of material, display back, square ceramic pushers, and of ourse the stunning dial with white subdials :-)... Strap option is also much more confrtable than the RC..

I initially wanted a RGRC but went for the RG ROC as I preferred the gold bezel to the rubber and also the RG pushers which are uniquely lovely, and with the new novelties the RGRC does seem a bit dated now. For my 7 inch wrist the 44mm was just too big so the ROC was the one for me.

A tough dilemma I am also facing!
RGRC new dial or RGC44......I am changing my mind by the hour but leaning towards the 44 purely for the ceramic. I think the new dial RC has a nice dial than the 44 though |

I had a steel and rosegold rubberclad, but the rosegold one wasn't comfortable. Now I have the 41 mm in rg. I planning to keep this for......

my 44 RG way more comfy than my ex Rubberclad RG. The weight/deployant clasp just wasn't a good match for me!
44 is king for me :) |

Questions regarding RGRC/ RG 44 novelty/ RG 41mm chrono
RGRC for me, suitable for any occasion without being overly in your face 👍
http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e6...n/cf241e8e.jpg Did consider the 44 RGROO but went for this instead, it is my favourite RG piece. Kind of an AP, RM, JLC hybrid http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e6...46a5a6cfb7.jpg Good luck 😃 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

had the RG RC and it's beautiful, but the clasp sucks.. it's pretty but not comfy, clasp digs into your wrist. Same thing with my SS RC I had. also,Rubber wears quick over time, get shiny looking.. ceramic always looks new, esp with AP bezels being scratch magnets.
the 44mm is like butter on the wrist and I love being able to view the movement. |

Also discontinued and in with new reference # very hard to get. I spoke to AP Boutique in Miami and they were allocated 5 of them and another AD Govberg was allocated 1. Not a lot of 26178OK.OO.D002CA.01's out there and will be a much harder find going forward.

I'd love a RGRC with Diver strap and gold buckle.
