Another clock thread...

Took these pics on the weekend but didn't get a chance to resize them until tonight. Package was sent to me from Hong Kong to Toronto, so there were a few extra photos of the unboxing required. I'm also hoping to acquire a few more of the same to put together different time zones. Looking for 3 rather than 4 though (even though I'm not superstitious!). Thanks again Roger :).

Clock is finally up

Was waiting for renovations of the home office to be completed. Custom cabinetry is finally in and the clock is now up. The clock is a perfect addition to the room that is shaped like an octagon :).

I'm interested in buying an AP clock, found one for sale for a reasonable price, it seems to be the older model though not the newer nicer one but then again the newer one costs about 2500$ so much more expensive, here is a photo of the clock that I found for sale

Can someone tell me if it look genuine and of its worth for me to get? I really love the newer AP wall clock that can be found on eBay but can't really spend 2000$ on a wall clock atm

Thank you very much

I hope you have not bought it yet, it's a fake AP clock. Get it from AP boutique if you are planning to have one.
I learned my lesson getting one of this in ebay.

How do you know it's fake? I asked Watchcollectinglifestyle who made an article a while back comparing the old and new AP Clocks, here's a link: http://www.watchcollectinglifestyle....-coveted-clock

I asked him on Instagram and he actually owns the exact same AP clock and he said it looks genuine from the photo and that I should get it, there are 2 versions of the AP wall Clock, one is an older model which is the one I'm planning to buy and there is a newer version as well that looks slightly different and more luxurious that costs much more about 2000$+

Wonder if those hex bolts on the back anchor into the hexagonal "screws" on the front, in the same manner the watch cases are assembled

Can you please explain to me though, how do you know the clock i posted is fake and why i shouldn't buy it? perhaps the clock you bought from ebay was fake but as i have mentioned earlier, there were 2 Models of the AP Clock that were made, one is a newer model which is what you own now i believe and has a much nicer quality overall and there is an Older Model AP Clock which was slightly bulkier and was made of all Stainless Steel with a Swiss quartz movement, you can ever read the article here comparing the older model with the newer model:

http://www.watchcollectinglifestyle....-coveted-clock

it compares the old AP Clock with the new AP Clock Model, so that slightly bulkier and heavier looking AP Clock does exist and from my understanding is still used at Delta Lounges around the country ,

What i would like to know is why do you think i shouldn't buy the clock i posted and how is it fake? i am not buying from ebay by the way.
