Thoughts on Panda
I have dabbled in AP once before but ended up flipping my 41mm ROC for a Skydweller and have no regrets. That said it meant my collection turming 100% Rolex and with two GMTs I have got to thinking I would like a chrono. I would consider flipping one (216570 exp2) for a white face chronograph but not sure which - I found the RoC a scratch magnet and coupled with the countless stories of QC issues in other AP watches I was happy to get out and be done with AP but my wife has a lady oak and Millenary and I can't help but feel drawn back in. I wouldn't go bracelet but leather would be OK - any thoughts on Panda.?..

Bezel still a scratch magnet but a great watch all the same, looks great on aftermarket straps too
Have you considered the 44mm with ceramic bezel for added durability? |

Thanks - I have however I am not sure about rubber and am no fans of the tang buckle. It's also considerably more expensive but your right it does look great. I even thought of rubber clad tbh but Panda does sing a little more

I have seen pictures of it somewhere on a black leather strap with red stitch - looked amazing (still had tang buckle of course) - anyone else seen the pic I mean?
The price on the used market is a lot closer between the 44 and panda than when they are at full retail Can't go wrong tho, panda and rubber clad both great pieces too |

If rubber strap is a problem there is a 44mm strap on the Grand Prix you can use. And a Tang buckle is usually a lot more comfortable than an AP deployant.
