Sub/GMT rose gold
Any idea why the sub and gmt have never come out in rose gold? Either in full rose gold, as per daytona, or two tone like the YMII?
I think a 2 tone would look pretty cool |

I don't think there is any great philosophy behind it, just that is what the design team felt worked best on the watches. Platinum may also be a possibility now as a platinum sports watch has been made, and maybe RG might even be used with the new ceramic GMTs this forum is always asking for.

Maybe it is planned for a future model.

Not sure about plat as the WG Sub is the top of food chain and would look too similar. I love YG and agree a RG Sub would look fantastic.

I hope they do soon. Looks great on daytona and would really pop on the ceramic sub or gmt.

There's no figuring how, why, or when Rolex will do something. I gave up on trying to figure it out anyway. The Sub has a WG version but the arguably "dressier" GMT does not, yet when the design update happened it was the GMT that got the maxi case and ceramic bezel years before the Sub.

Although if they did platinum it would get a signature glacier dial.
