New Zenith Pilot Type 20 45mm
I have been wanting one of these watches for a long time but the 48mm version looks silly on me and the 40mm looks like I borrowed it from my little sister.
But I just went to the website again and noticed there is now a 45mm version! Anybody has any idea what the MSRP is? I am really looking forward to trying it on

45mm is definitely more wearable. A good looking watch.

Is this the not in house Zenith? If so, I don't see the point.

Beautiful watch but the "extra special" on the dial really irks me.

If you do not want to look like you are wearing a wall clock the 40mm is perfect. I love this watch too and am seriously considering getting the 40mm. My 6.5 wrist would not support a 45mm without looking like a clown. Have a read if you like : http://zenith.watchprosite.com/show-...ti-863298/s-0/ Look at the wrist shot, that guy is not small wristed and it looks great on him.

I went in expecting it to wear like a 40mm Rolex, but it wore more like a 36mm Datejust, or even smaller. But, to each their own.

Nice looking watch, and a great size. Too bad Zenith broken from tradition and isn't using an in-house movement. Shame really...

Guys, of course its an in-house movement. Called the Elite. To my knowledge Zenith have never used others' movements in their pieces. This is no exception.

Zenith will discontinue the Elite and use cheaper non in-house movements. FYI it is a selita movement And zenith did not use other movements before ??? They used tons of other movements, just to name a few Universal Rayville Eta ( SEVERAL different calibers) Omega JLC Piguet Long before the El Primero they used Martel for their chrono's ( afterwards they bought Martel) And in the 1980's ( quartz) they used cheap crap movements from even citizen and ETA The early Rainbow ( non chrono) used ETA, only later Rainbows ( after 1995) use the in-house Elite cal.670 And believe me, that 45 mm Pilot does not have an on house movement but a Selita And to tell a bit more about Selita …. they are ETA copies. In fact they are as good as the same but these ETA movements are so old that patents are expired. So Selita can for example take an ETA 2824, copy it and name it a Selita SW200

The Zenith website lists the movement as a Zenith3000.... I was interested in the watch, but not so sure not.... maybe I'll checkout one of tghe new Rolex Celini's.

Nice piece but definitely a Selita movement - there has been much written about this recently on the major watch forums. I also like the 48mm GMT model. I believe the 40mm version is intended as a unisex model

Its a selita movement. First one they're using in their pilot line. I agree, real shame.
