question about 18238 versus 118238 Presidential?

I am not sure if I am posting in the right part of the forum or I should have posted in the technical section, but I will try my luck here anyway.

I often see advertisements of the Gold Presidential where they point out that the 118238 has a heavier bracelet and case.

I know that the bracelet is heavier, but wasn't sure if the case is also heavier than the predecessor 18238.

Is anyone aware if the case of a 118238 is heavier than the earlier 18238 model and if so how is it different??:dummy

I vaguely recall that someone had mentioned that the 18238 has stands for the mechanism sit on to be screwed onto, whereas the later model 118238 has a groove in the case where the movement is rotated like it is with the stainless steel case. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this? Thanks
