Icon20 Mayweather vs Maidana..Saturday, May 3rd 2014

MGM GRAND @ LAS VEGAS, NEVADA 8:00PM PST

MAIDANA @ +830 35-3
MAYWEATHER @ -1269 45-0

Over 10 -285
Under 10 +235

Whose got a brass pair to bet Mayweather in this mess of a fight.

Very nice return on Maidana though I love underdogs and this would just kill the sports books.

It's on Showtime, does Marcos really have it in him ?

"Money" in the bank on Money!

Wonder what the odds are for a KO by Mayweather? Bet that won't happen.

Easy fight for Mayweather, and easy money to win. I think he actually KOs Maidana in this one it'll be so lopsided.

You really can't think this stuff up.

Let's let a wife beater and child abuser own a pro sports team, put your boots on it can't get any deeper then this.

EDIT: rumor has it that Mayweather will wear his dancing shoes during this fight and put on a fine show of pirouette a la seconde

32 million guaranteed for Mayweather
1.5 million guaranteed for Maidana

Not including PPV pay outs

1200 to 1 favorite still, I usually don't call a fight but this will be a KO IMO

Agreed, Mayweather is going to crush him. The money he gets for these loopsided fights is ridiculous!

Pac mans to concerned with fighting Marquez, for the 17th time... Trust me, PAC wants no part of may weather, other than having the payday. 5 years ago, he stood a chance, now nothing more than a punchers chance... The chance of maidana knocking out mayweather is slim, he obviously can't outbox him. Now.... The guy who does stand a chance after 1 or 2 more fights is..... 1time! Fast, strong as a bull, smart and can box his ass off. Him I wouldn't be surprised if mayweather was wary of.

Not sold on Thurman's Chin but he has improved every fight and Dan Birmingham is a very good Trainer.........

Icon6 Hype the fight !!

The fight was a no go as of last night. Mayweather didn't like Chino's glove choice. Now it's back on, Mayweather is happy again.

Thought Chino won a close fight but the judges gave it to Mayweather. He got hit with a lot of jabs that he would've easily avoided in the past, looks like father time might be catching up with him.

Saw a video on the gloves thing...typical Mayweather. Once the Commission approved another pair, it didn't matter what Floyd wanted (as per their contract they could wear whatever they wanted that was approved).

I used to enjoy boxing a lot but after a few too many 'iffy' decisions, I more or less gave up on the sport.
Still have great respect for the combatants but there's too much subjectivity in it for me.

Screw Mayweather!

He has dodged Pacquiao through his prime to keep a perfect record. He is a disgrace to the sport of boxing. The best and most skilled boxers should always fight the best of their time when they are in their prime. Mayweather is all about making the money and preserving his record.

I think it's Mayweather who is afraid of fighting the Pacman.

Yes, Mayweather never chooses a fighter that is quick and fast. Usually brawlers that just move forward to him. I think he's avoiding Pac for a reason.

Not only do I disagree, I take everything said within the boxing world with a grain of salt. Promotion via talking crap is half the business. IMHO. Thanks for posting this.

EDIT: Furthermore lets get down to details? I watched the fight and would not have given it to maidana. Floyd is a defensive fighter and that is fine. May not be the most exciting, but at least he is not biting and giving low blows. He managed to land some really clean shots as well throughout the fight. With a little more power, he wouldn't have so many people complaining.

An unbeaten record means nothing to those that have lost theirs. Conviently.
