Old incoming thread – weekend shots

Hey guys – so I never posted the incoming thread from when I got the 44RG but this weekend I decided to bring along my 44RG to meet up with a buddy of mine who also loves the watch. As we’re chatting and catching up, he surprised me and said one of his cars was out back and asked if I wanted to take my wife for a spin. It was a LP570 Performante which is basically the Spyder version of the Superleggera. I’ve had a Gallardo before, but this felt totally different. A few moments later with the top down, my wife and I cruise through town, onto the highway for a bit, and came back. What a great time and it really sold me on the Spyder (I was purely a coupe guy before).

Here are a few shots of the combo…nice watch, nice car, and thanks to a great friend.

Hope you all enjoy

LOVE both!!

That 44mm RG is nothing short of stunning!

Did you put a short strap on it?

Just know from having it before (without short) it was top heavy. JUST STUNNING!

Congrats!

Thanks, guys! Paul - like we talked about, I didn't use a short strap as the watch feels comfortable on the first hole for me, but would guess with a short strap and my small wrist, it would fit even better.
The watch itself is heavy from the gold, but interestingly enough, the term top heavy didn’t really come into my head as I feel like it sits pretty well. The DSSD I’m sure is lighter, yet I felt that was very top heavy. Maybe the wide rubber straps helps out versus the relatively thinner bracelet of the Rolex.

Thanks, guys! Figured it was a very picture worthy pair. ;-)

Both my friend and wife thought it was humorous that of course I would make sure I got some good watch shots in there lol
