FS: 1970 Rolex Submariner 5513 Barn Find

Up for sale is a beautiful example of the iconic ref. 5513 Rolex Submariner (2.5m serial). This watch is a true barn find that was found as if it has been worn daily and never cleaned in the last 25+ years as seen in pictures . It has since undergone a minor cleaning to remove some of the exterior gunk in order to make it better suited for wear by the buyer.

Details:

Dial/Hands: Original matte dial in excellent condition with a beautiful light cream patina. Any marks that may appear as scratches on the dial in the photos are actually on the acrylic crystal. Hands appear to have a slightly darker patina.
Case/Crystal: Healthy case has light scratches from use. Original crystal has normal scratches from use. Bezel insert is a nice light faded grey color. Caseback is stamped I 70.
Bracelet: None. The watch will include a hand stitched leather strap. Either one of the darker grey or black straps seen in the photos.
Additional: No additional accessories included. The watch runs but service history is unknown.
