Wow! New seller, no feedback, why was the watch taken apart by someone when it is only a year old? etc...

Also, am I wrong, or is the pic of an older "Fat hands" series?

This looks a bit suspicious......here is the link below:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...0%3D%26fvi%3D1

His feedback is at 0 and he already has a list of terms and conditions stated to protect his own interests.
I personally would not buy this one.....unless you go to Bangor Maine yourself and inspect it........
Plus, let's say it is authentic.....how much can you really get it for?. Is the savings on this Daytona going to outweigh your doubts?.
I'd rather pay a little more for that piece of mind............Good Luck!
P.S. For future reference, highlight the link and press "CTRL" "C" to copy and then "CTRL" "V" to paste.......

I wouldn't bid on the auction because of the annoyingly huge font and This Style Of Typing When He Answers Questions. No Paypal, 0 feedback, inability to spell, single picture lifted from another site? Right.

Also, how do you lose a pin from the bracelet? I don't think I have ever seen a newer Rolex for sale with missing pins, and I haven't heard anyone complain of it here. Unless it is the pin on the clasp, which could happen, but they could go to any AD and get another. As mentioned, no pics, I would certainly expect pics of the band, since they already stated its got problems.

Also, they have the word "Style" at the tope of the listing, often times used to protect their interest when you find out it is fake. They come back and say it was sold as Rolex "Style".

On the other hand, being in Maine with a SS Daytona and no furnace is like being in the desert with a handful of diamonds and no water.

Thanks guys..I had no intention of buying it! I just thought it seemed
like a lot of work for what seems to be bull s**t.

To me it doesn't even come accross as remotely believeable.

cheers

ps mking0714..thanks for the computer tutorial!

How does someone who is selling a high value item not use spell check before posting his auction?

...appears to be a central London (UK) number, and he's listed as a US member.

Uh??

Also how does he not have more than 1 picture for the item? and the shipping is $100 for UPS Ground 1-6 days? $100 should be good for UPS next day saver. This auction has shades of the fraud our fellow member encountered with the degenerate gambler who's sister paid him back, in exchange for not prosecuting her brother.

Either that OR someone high jacked this user's ebay account. It wouldn't surprise me if when the auction ends the seller requests you wire him money to a back account located in Malaysia, Indonesia, or Nigeria. Again not knocking those counties but unfortunately they are frequently associated with fraud.

No, RJ. It's the area code for Maine. If it were central London, it would likely be written as 020 7631-3611.

Look carefully at the picture. The bracelet still has the original "tape" protection over the lugs. If the tape is still there it couldn't have been worn. Plus if it is an M series, why was it serviced? Plus as cbrenthus mentions it has fat hands, not an M series.

Interesting "No We Won't Except $20,000.00 And Wire You Back A Penny. Been There Done That! " He's done this before? Hmmmm

He's back............new listing and even called out the person who reported him to Ebay. Click here and enjoy - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...id=p2759.l1259

Also, the title says - 100% Authentic Ralex 1 Year Old SS Daytona Watch!
What's a Ralex?

Now I see he has two for sale both with the same pictures - http://cgi.ebay.com/100-Authentic-R-...QQcmdZViewItem

Also the appraisal address is in Germany.

If that is supposed to be an "M" serial Daytona, why has it got the "Green Hologram" marker on the back of the watch, we all know that Rolex no longer use this style and certainly not on a new "M" serial:
I SAY FAKE! machinegu

something is not right.however-how could you go wrong if you flew there(there are some incredible deals on flights going on)and meet him at an a.d. to have them check it out.
also that appraisal has another address at the bottom just a little ways from me.
good luck.
wish I had the time to go do this deal in person,I would love just to see exactly what this jerk looks like.
