Polywatch - other uses

Just been given a vintage pair of B&L RayBan Wayfarer's, the fronts have a few light marks / rubbing....anyone used Polywatch on sunglasses before ?

Polywatch might remove the coating (if any) on the lenses.

There's no harm in trying it since you'd consider replacing them anyway. I'd suggest using flattened Q-tips to control where it's being applied.

I'm pretty sure that Bausch + Lomb sunglasses used glass lenses. All mine did.

The color should be in the glass not on the glass and glass lenses don't take coatings.

I don't expect that Polywatch to have much effect on glass. An optometrist shop might have some means to lightly polish out the scratches and marks, but not many people wear glass lenses anymore.

Thanks, They are marked on the lenses B&L & above the inner lens as 5022's, have tried Polywatch but without much luck...
