Thank you. The new watch wears just like the old one does. I was afraid it would be too much like the Sub C but I am happy to say it is not.

Does it feel much heavier on the wrist than the Sub-C? Does it wear smaller than the Sub-C?

Thanks for sharing the pics. Enjoy it.

It feels about the same as far as weight, but I am use to a heavy watch. It does wear smaller than a subC in the sense that the lugs don't stick out as far. I was skeptical about it before I got it. The 16600 is one of my favorite watches and they kept the same feeling with this watch only they updated it slightly.

I thought the side by side lug shot would best illustrate the size difference.

New SD is definitely a very nice watch - having worn mind for about a week now, I would say though that it does 'wear' slightly bigger than my SD 16600. Not a great deal of difference in depth or height but does have a slightly chunkier feel to it than the 16600 - might be mostly down to the bezel?

Is there any difference to caseback shape or overall thickness?

I believe the case thickness is the same. The watch does seam to wear slightly bigger but you barley notice. Compared to a SubC the C-Dweller is much more conformable on the wrist.

Thanks

Is a pic of the casebacks side by side possibly?

thanks for your post and pictures! Can you elaborate on this statement? In particular, what you don't or didn't like about the SubC?

I have a mid-60's 5513 which I LOVE, and want to get a modern one to compliment it - either a SubC, or a C. Dweller.

Can you share you SubC thoughts, and what in your view the Sea Dweller 4000 successfully addresses?

Thanks!!
Mark

Well I've had a couple of SubC and recently sold both. My new SDC is an awesome price! Nothing against the SubC but I do like the thickness and more rounded feel of the SDC. The SubC sat more flat on the wrist where the SDC sits a bit more top heavy. But not too much. More like the old SD but is now more balanced with the heavier stap.

To me the SubC case is too square and sits flat on my wrist. The new C-Dweller lugs taper giving it more shape. I also like the way the crystal sits up higher than the bezel. The SubC is a nice watch but the C-Dweller takes it up a notch.
