Will I regret this swap?
To cut the story short...
I started with an exp 2 black and went on to a white milgauss. Then got the sub Lvc which I love. I'm looking at a black Daytona and I'm itching to make a swap and trade my green sub c for it. I know the sub wears bigger but the Daytona is a unique piece and although I know it's not as legible as the sub and has no date function I don't know why I want it Should I make the swap? I've got to add another 3 grand to it Anyone care to make me reason or have any suggestions? |

I far prefer the Sub to the Daytona but you've gotta do what the heart desires.
Good luck! |

I have both the 116610 LV and the 116520 with a white dial. The Daytona is a very special watch to wear, but so is the Sub. As a daily wearer, however, the utility of the Sub is much greater. The bezel on the Daytona is too easy to scuff and the lack of a date function can be annoying. However, the Daytona is beautifully engineered and a stunning design to wear on your wrist. That having been said, I would not part with either of them.

Bezel on Daytona is a scratch magnet. Wait a year or two until they introduce a SS model with ceramic bezel like they did with the RG and Plat Versions

Daytonas are really popular; make the trade. You can always trade again if you want.

Do you need a Cosmograph?
Will you use the Cosmograph functions? If not...pass. |

I wouldn't do it. My Daytona is my least favorite piece.

I do not think you will be happy. The Daytona is a beautiful watch, but wears very small compared to the Sub-C.
Save up for both, that would be a better move. I predict you will miss your sub if not.

Keep the Hulk!! You are crazy to want to part with it. Save your money for the Daytona that you like. I like the white dial much better on a stainless Daytona. Much more legible IMO.

Can't go wrong with either as they are both great watches, but the Sub is the one for me personally.

Just spotted you would have to add 3 grand to get the Daytona, is it possible to get the Speedy for that sort of money where you are? That way you could keep the Sub and add a classic chronograph. Just a thought.
