Do you have other Rolexes? It may look great now, but 5-10 years down the road it may not.
Don't get me wrong, I think this watch will be a great addition TO your collection, but not in PLACE of the Sub. Sleep on it for a couple of days and I am sure the feeling will go away 😝 |

Keep the classic Sub C. Years down the road, you will be glad you did.

I have owned a few PO8500s and there is no way I would trade one of my SubCs for a PO. The Omegas are amazing watches, I just do not find them to be substitutes for the Submariner. As an aside, the POs do not hold there value nearly as well, so if you decide to do it, make 100% sure because it will cost you a lot of $$ to go back.

I personally love the PO and definitely want one next to my Sub-C, but if I want only one. . . that would be a tough one. . .

I just flipped a PO to procure my SDc. I got bored of my PO. I would keep the Sub.

Ha! Seems that its pretty unanimous in here: Keep the Sub.
The Sub currently is my only watch and daily. Its a perfect size and has a classic look. Rather than flipping the sub, I should figure out a way to add the PO GMT into the rotation. |

Nope.
And know that you've come to a pretty biased forum to ask: the great guys on this forum will tend to always lean to the Rolex brand especially when a Submariner is involved. I do too but you need to get the watch that YOU want. |

You have to have both, not one or the other.

Maybe.....Does that help?
I dont think its better or even worse than Rolex. It is just different so your own personal style and taste will have to decide. You are talking "apples to apples" in watch and quality.

No, the PO's are way too thick in my opinion. It looks great but just sits too high on the wrist. But that's me....

It's nice but I wouldn't sell a subc for that.
