First Rolex - Explorer 1 39mm
After a very long time lusting after this watch, I am finally a proud owner a Rolex Explorer 39mm - my first luxury watch.
It's been a big year with an incoming babies and other excitement so just seemed like the perfect time to jump in the deep end.. Here it is:  And thanks to TRF and Herbalt for making this happen! |

Not only a great watch in and of itself, it is a great piece to start a collection with. To me the Explorer is the base sports watch that Rolex makes. Anything you get next in the sports line is essentially an Explorer with a different bezel, maybe an extra hand, and a date.
