Anyone with info/history on YG Datejust 16018?

Just gained interest in YG DJ 16018 and noticed that some come with jubilee-bracelet and some with president. Does anyone know anything about this model? Are both bracelets correct?

No the watch came with a jubilee or oyster choice like any datejust. Jubilee did have the hidden clasp. President band is exclusive to the day date. It fits and many use them but not correct. Watch ran from 1977- 1988.

Great info! So it's basically the same bracelet that 18038 etc. uses? Do you think the resale value will be less if it's fitted with an President bracelet instead of a jubilee bracelet?

18038 is a day date it comes with a president bracelet, the datejust does not come with a president band. It does not effect value that much at present as most prefer the president band anyway.

IMHO you'd want to find one with the Oyster bracelet.

Just looking at a 1601 DJ with a president bracelet. Will that bracelet fit a DD 1803 if I decide to buy a 1803 "head only" in the future?

I picked a 16018 for my wife a couple of months ago, it came with the jubilee bracelet. Looks great on her wrist. I tried putting my president bracelet on her 16018 and it wasn't a perfect fit but would have passed.

I've seen several older rehab YG DJs on non OEM (replica) president braclets. Personally, I'd prefer a stretched 40 year old jubilee or even a nice leather strap over a replica of a bracelet that was never even offered on a DJ.
