This Independence Day I am declaring my independence from watches which are not Rolex. I've been a TAG guy, with four TAGs, but also an Ebel and a Festina Shockwave (an unfairly ignored watch, IMO). So, today is my first post with pics of my first Rolex which arrived yesterday. Happy 4th, everyone.

Interesting; lived in Oro Valley (Villages of La Canada looking out on Pusch Ridge) and used to ride MC down to Bisbee a lot. Great area.

Thanks again, everyone, for the kind welcome. We're in La Reserve, just off Oracle at 1st Ave. Depending on how long it's been since you lived here, the area has probably built up a lot. Lots of shopping now right along Oracle and at Tangerine. I'm retiring at the end of the year and Oro Valley is our retirement place. Lived and raised our kids in Sierra Vista for 30 years. Now I'm renting in Bisbee, where I work, until the end of the year. It can't some soon enough. Went to dinner tonight at Carlota's at Lambert and La Canada.

We left 11 years ago this coming August. There wasn't a restaurant there. Great area. Miss is seriously sometimes. At any rate enjoy the new Daytona; it's a gorgeous watch.
