True to an extent. Some of the Breitling I've had have had worse lume. Panerai lume rules though, and I haven't had enough experience with BP to make a statement.

Breitling definitely does not compare to Rolex with regard to Lum… can't speak for the others as much...

Re Breitling vs. XX vs. Rolex lume it all depends on a model. Some Breitlings have strong lume that lasts (as well as Tag Heuer, Omega and others.
The Best Lume I have ever had was Omega SMP and Seiko Monster - altered by modification - even different crystal has impact on lume performance, not only the lume material.
Then there are brands that combine luminova and tritium - (can not be beaten for next 20years :D like Ball)
But from my personal experience, Seiko won over Submariner, Seamaster, Steelfish and plenty of others ;)
