Never again may you complain about Rolex service being slow.

Looking at a recently closed thread I'm shocked and pleaseantly surprised at Rolex super service.

A member sent his watch from California to Dallas RSC on July 10 with an overpolish issue and the followong day (July 11) Rolex calls him back to confirm their mistake and offer to correct it.

Ooops, almost forgot to also congratulate USPS on their super fast delivery.

In this day and age....

...even quality light-speed service won't stop complainers.

Not sure, but I think I detect a note of skepticism here.

Personally, I'm thinking a story about the flux capacitor is more realistic.

Complaining is a symptom of entitlement. We all want our fair share (actually much more than that). Whine on.

Why'd it take so long? I'd expect same day service.

Mine as well. Now Beverly Hills RSC is a different story. I had a bad experience with one of their hack technicians polishing lugs when told not too.
They admitted fault and Dallas RSC repaired as best they could.

You mean they didn't promise you a new case within a 24 hour period?

And your AD didn't give you and huge discount after the most sought after item they have?

I guess no one should assert any more that you ask for the moon when you expect a good and fast customer service from Rolex.

Rolex Dallas Service Center delivered, congrats to their service quality.

This is an aspect of brand value that many WIS folks tend to overlook.

There aren't watch companies with better, quicker, and more thorough customer service than Rolex (OMEGA a close second).

I don't know about others, but if I have my watch serviced, I don't want to wait a month or longer for its return.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I'm among those who considered that the OP was entitled to a new service case.

And it is clear that Dallas Rolex Service Center shared the same view, as they acknowledged that they over polished the OP's watch.

I always find it curious when some of us, Rolex enthusiasts, think Rolex should not comply with legitimate customers requests…. How strange….

And I find a bit strange too that these same folks start a new topic which claims to be "ironical" when their opinion has been overruled by Rolex itself and that the initial previous topic has been closed.

Maybe they feel that this very wise Rolex decision is too difficult to stomach?
