Icon10 Rolex Trip To National Watch & Clock Museum

PIC HEAVY !!!!! Part One - The following was a trip to the National Watch & Clock Museum in Columbia PA. which is a little over one hour outside Philly. They have a nice James Bond display with emphasis on Fleming and the Rolex Explorer. This is only a small part of what the museum holds - enjoy!
Part Two - Included a mini photo log on our stay in Philadelphia. The Warwick Hotel - Drinks at Rouge - Dinner at Parc (not shown an amazing steak -sorry) and a nightcap (or two) at the Prime Rib. I include this so that those who are not from Philadelphia area can see that it's really a great restaurant town and when paired with the museum makes for a wonderful getaway and worth the "TIME" (but I would pair it with Philly as not much near museum)
Highly Recommend

PART ONE -

Thank you gentlemen. I took this shot of the watch my grandfather owned -interestingly It may be the watch that started my own interest in the expensive nonsense (as we all know it's quartz ). I cannot help but wonder what he would think of me many years later spending money on old technology

Great museum but man my kids were bored while I was in heaven. Did you drive by the Rolex training facility in Lititz? I drove up to the gate and tried to get a tour! I think James Earl Jones works security there because an ominous voice told me they are not open to the public .

Did not go by Lintz - my wife likes eating at Parc in Philadelphia far more than looking at watches and clocks in Columbia so that would have been pushing it. She does love that Hamilton though

It really is an interesting place. Horology on a larger scale than just watches. Not a member but an thinking of joining.

Yes she's a good sport. And thank you on the Patek -I love it!

Aloha from Kauai,

Yes- many hotels are rushing to become "boutique" The Warwick was all - once old world beautiful - then past it's prime - now unfinished boutique. You can find many NYC.

Absolutely- they had an original Mickey Mouse but my photo blurred badly.
