18038 dial question

Guys,

Can you kindly help me identify this 18038 dial?
I'm pretty sure it's a blue matte dial. Tried searching the web for 18038 blue matte dial and found nothing.

Please note that due to mediocre photo quality, the dial color in the picture looks darker than in real life.

Watch is 99.9% new. Bought in the 80's but never been worn nor resized. Well, I tried it on my wrist several times in the house. The watch has been kept 99.9% of its life in a safe as well.

Thinking of trading this baby.

Thanks for reading and helping me out !

Is it one of the Ford Motor Company watches? The dial appears to be the color found on some of the Date and Datejust gold watches given out by Ford to deserving employees.

I don't think it's a blue roman dial as the blue dial (color) is much more darker compared to mine. I'm pretty sure it's not given by Ford Motor as the watch was purchased in Singapore in the 80's.

The blue dial in real life is actually very 'lite' close to matte dial.

Or...

Would it be possible because of age and it has been in the safe for almost all its life, the roman dial has gone through discoloration into a very lite blue (matte) dial?
