Rolex DateJust II with a leather strap

I'm looking for a leather strap to fit into my DJII (stainless steel). I will order from ABP. And also i will use my oyster clasp too.

One thing I'm not sure is the thickness. I like the daytona strap, so I want it to be exactly the same padding as daytona. Does anyone have a Daytona 116515LN? or know how thick the leather strap is?

ABP told me their strap is 3.5mm, which is a lot thinner than Daytona. I think Daytona is almost 5mm.
